Level Two
Mixology Classes
Understanding Multi-Spirit Cocktails
Let's take what we've already learned and apply it to more complex structures, flavors, and techniques! These classes are for those who've already taken one or more Level 1 Mixology Class(es) for two reasons.
First, you'll already have some of the necessary spirits on your home bar that can translate to these Level Two classes. Because of this, you'll only need to purchase a couple more bottles to be able create these multi-spirit cocktail recipes.
Second, we speak less about the core foundational (and necessary!) concepts of the Level One classes, focusing more on the other characteristics of these recipe structures and lesser-familiar ingredients. You'll develop the confidence to get real mileage from vermouths, sherries, liqueurs, and more. As with all of my classes, you'll have a chance to customize a cocktail using any techniques you've learned in both the Level 1 and Level 2 classes!
Scroll down view the list of the Level 2 Mixology Classes! More will be added throughout 2021 so stay tuned!

"Not a Martini"
Mixology Class
If you understand exactly what a true Martini is, then you understand the direction of this class! Here, we look at a couple of my favorite and misunderstood "not-a-Martini" Martinis: the Espresso Martini and the Cosmopolitan. These cocktail structures explore the use of liqueurs and, in the case of the Cosmo, a historical recipe that has been overshadowed by the more recent recipe.
Recommended Level One pre-course classes:
Pre- and Post- Prohibition
Spirits used:
Vodka, Gin, Orange Liqueur, Espresso Liqueur
(You may have some of these at home if you've taken other classes!)
Private Classes of 6 or more people available upon request
