While developing the cocktail menu, the equipment, glassware and technical execution are all being considered. As the launch approaches, it is imperative that the bartenders have the tools and training to get the drinks into the hands of thirsty guests quickly and accurately.
Any great menu can lose money and public interest without the proper training.
Thorough product and menu training, in terms agreed upon by the client, is the foundation of a successful business. I educate and inspire your staff while emphasizing the importance of accuracy and speed by applying the same techniques I use everyday in my current Beverage Director position. Training covers prep, bar station mis en place, handling of tools, precise and proper cocktail round execution, and more. Perhaps the most important aspect of what I teach is the reasoning behind how/what/why we do what we do. This depth of reasoning further solidifies the staff's new knowledge, skills, and confidence to maintain the integrity of the program long after the consultation.
I encourage open communication with my students and provide email support to answer any related questions for as long as they choose. Their ongoing success is my mission.
Three to five training sessions plus a post-launch
follow-up is the sweet-spot for most businesses. Ongoing quarterly check-ups are available and encouraged. Specific information on packages and options can be received by reaching out here.
"Loved working with Josh! His knowledge and passion resonated during his training, and his attention to detail increased ease and efficiency behind a bar that was not originally designed for craft bartending."
